Bass, Lead and Backing Vocals

Shannon hails from the 'burbs around Columbia SC. His bass playing started with a healthy diet of Southern Rock, followed by a wide variety of other projects. At one point he was juggling three bands at once, playing in a hardcore punk band, a prog-rock original music project, and a big-band jazz ensemble. Shannon most recently played with local bands Shacktown Road and the SoulShakers.

One of the rare breeds in the bass-playing world, Shannon did not start out on another instrument before picking up the bass. From day one he has been drawn to the low end, and enjoys providing the groove, drive, and foundation for all the songs we play. There are few things he finds more enjoyable than locking in with Jörg and establishing a deep pocket that keeps the song moving.
